Here comes the bride ...

With a setting like Pat Busch Private Nature Reserve, your wedding could not be more memorable. Surrounded by mountains, green valleys and the splendour of nature, sharing your vows with your nearest and dearest is nothing short of idyllic. Generally, guests enjoy a weekend-long wedding with their friends & family staying in the various cottages and farmhouses on the farm within walking distance. Their reception and ceremony takes place outdoors with the natural beauty of the nature reserve as witness.

Under the Influence

Recently the team from Under the Influence visited Rusticus cellar for a short video interview on all things Viognier with winemaker Stephan Busch.

Our range of wines have recently been tasted and adored by the panel at Under the Influence and have subsequently been listed on their website.

SLOW festival feedback

After a very successful and fun SLOW festival, where we had almost 45 guests enjoying pasta and gnocchi making between them, we were pleased to discover a review in The Month by Brett Garner & Cami Lake. Although they did not participate in the food evenings, they thoroughly enjoyed our wines and their visit to Rusticus.

Upcoming festivals

Its time for the annual Wine on the River festival in the valley of wine and roses. A firm favourite in the diary of many a wino, the festival takes place on the banks of the Breede river. Think rolling lawns, picnics, music, food and an enormous selection of Robertson wines.

The festival takes on a new edge this year, with an open invite for funny hats. The winning hat will enjoy a complimentary weekend in the valley and two pairs of Glider sunglasses.

Health & Wellness

With the peace and tranquility that comes with a break in the country, you can also treat and pamper yourself to a variety of beauty, health and wellness treatments in and around Klaasvoogds.

On the wellness side, Lindi Busch offers Reiki treatments for guests staying on the reserve. A Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. Reiki treats the whole person including body; emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being. A Reiki session is approximately an hour long.

To book an appointment with Lindi please call 072 589 7407 or alternatively email lindi@patbusch.co.za.
